Tamara Scantland Adams is a professional portrait artist and illustrator who has a love for capturing beautiful moments in time. She creates with watercolors but also enjoys working in pencil, pen and ink, and acrylic.
While Tamara enjoys the detail of realism, she loves the freedom of the Impressionist, allowing the details to flow with color and texture.
Tamara has illustrated murals and children's books, and she has won numerous awards for her works. She has been accepted into national exhibitions including the Ohio (OWS) and Kentucky (KWS) Watercolor Societies (with signature membership status in both); Transparent Watercolor Society of America; and the Cincinnati Art Club (signature membership status). She is also an active member of the Cincinnati Watercolor Society.
Tamara and her husband, Kevin, reside in Cincinnati.
