Marianne Brown
Marianne had her first experience with clay when she was eight years old. From then on, she was hooked. While she tried more traditional ways of making a living, none held her attention like clay. So, in 1996 she took the leap and quit her real job, moved to Kentucky to be closer to family, and became a full time potter.
Marianne never looked back. She and her husband built a studio behind their home, then a kiln and also a forge (her husband is a knife smith). Potting full time has allowed Marianne's creativity and imgaination to soar in new directions. Now, making a piece fo you to pick up, use, and experience is her dream come true.
